A new year and a new decade, and so what?
We have, as written in November, been working on a denim collection which is now done and ready to be shown to the world at Bread and Butter Berlin and Terminal 2 Copenhagen.
The days were the fashion industry was excited and everything just went up and up are over. Consumerism has flat-lined. Luxury goods has almost become un cool, let’s face it; nobody has ever become happy and fulfilled by a pair of trousers which cost the same as the monthly rent for a small flat?! Or what?!
Punk Royal goes out to the masses, the people whom are not on the front page and the people whom find pleasure in the simple things.
We salute you.
See you on the streets and on the bus and on the bike and in the supermarked.

We are working on the new basic jeans line which will be the core of Punk Royal in the future. We have been digging into our vast archive and has excavated some good old prints that deserve a little life again.
The jeans line will be for men and for women and will be launched in Berlin at Bread&Butter in January and at Terminal 2 in Copenhagen in February.
We are really looking forward to showing you the new styles.
Apart from that we are staying connected with real life by making limited vintage wear which will be available at selected shops until January, and on our web shop a little longer.
The web shop is to be updated with the vintage styles within a couple of weeks.

Dear All
Fall has come and here in the basement we are working on a new vintage collection.
The new vintage designs are mainly done on our vintage italian jackets and we expect to have it in the shops before Christimas and of course on the webshop as well.
Besides that we are spending time helping out with some tee for the organization KirkeAsyl (Church Asylum). Here in little Denmark our goverment is acting out; sending refugees back to Iraq, even though its not safe, and we are against that. The rightwing goverment has gone to far this time, and we have not done enough to stop them.

Dearest You.
Summer is here and so is the presentation of our newest collection Spring 2010.
Go and have a look at the look book, which shows a selection of the collection and the video Scene 01.
We are still only for the women but not for long dear men, we will be making t-shirts and other small things for you.
Our Vintage clothes will be available in seleced shops in Germany in July.
For the rest of you the web shop will be runing shortly. We keep bumping into details that needs to be fixed so we can present a shop to be proud of and for you to enjoy, so bare with us just a little longer.
Since our last news we have helped Lars von Trier make merchandise for his latest movie Antichrist, you can find the t-shirts on zentropa.dk and see Lars Von Trier wearing it and buy the t-shirt if you are into it.
Besides that summer is here and we are in our own little sweat shop fixing old military jackets, sewing in missing buttons and printing it all by hand.

So now its a little later and the first collection will hit the German shops within a few weeks. You can see some of the styles in the look book section.
We have made a few vintage styles a few jackets and a few shirts for men which will hit the shops within 5-6 weeks. We cant seem to shake the vintage part its an essential part of what we are. So look out for italian army jackets and some american military shirts.
Since the last time we wrote some news weve been busy making our spring colletion for 2010, and of course we think that its pretty good, but sadly we are not the judges of this the buyers are.
Many have asked about the classic Punk Royal army pants and they will be back.....also on line which will up and running by late May. So stay in tune.

The biggest news is that we are back. After a split amongst us; the founders and a downfall for the company 4 years ago, we decided to re do the project Punk Royal.
Basically because we dont really want to do anything but this; our little bastard child needs us just as much as we need it.
Starting out small and with no stress we introduce a womens line in February 2009, the gear will be in the shops around March and April. For the first round we are only sold in Germany.
Our web shop will be up and running as soon as we have some gear to offer.
